Jason’s Top 5 Brands To Lookout For In 2012
Last year we featured five brands that we thought would shine this year and they definitely lived up to their potential delivering solid products season to season. Once again we spotlight five more companies to keep your eye out for in the coming year. Our criteria is based on what we’ve seen this year as well as previews shown by some of the labels listed here. Find out who you should keep your eye on next year after the jump.
Brand Name: Bloodbath

Having already collaborated with a few notable figures this year and a Black Scale project on the way, Bloodbath is poised for a big year. Their Cast Shadow headwear line has just released and we’re excited to see what types of caps they will be dropping in 2012. Expect Bloodbath to continue to impress in the coming seasons whether it is apparel or accessories.

DYNT has quickly emerged as one of our favorite brands that is flying under most people’s radars. The Ontario based brand has evolved from just standard t-shirts to sweaters, pocket shirts, caps and much more on the way. They definitely have a lot of potential in 2012 and will succeed if they pick it up where they left off in 2011.

Location: Los Angeles, California

Not only did we collaborate with Acropolis in 2011, they held their own among some of the leaders in the industry with their ability to keep their ideas fresh. Acropolis takes you on a journey throughout different time periods of history and looks to the past for their influences. They have introduced new pieces to their collection and continue to keep things moving in to the new year.

Much like the other brands mentioned above, Hall of Fame continues to build on their current offerings of products by adding cut & sew pieces to the current rotation as well as new caps. Look for their in-house line to blossom in 2012 as they focus more and more on developing the store’s image and brand.

In a short time span, IMPRM joins the list of popular companies to make it out of the Bay Area. Some of our favorites from IMPRM have been their varsity jackets and other items found in the collaborations with another Bay Area label, Mr. However, they are able to shine on their own and can’t wait to see what they have in-store in 2012.
