About a week ago, we covered Acapulco Gold’s Holiday ’11 collection. Here’s all the pieces in that collection being tastefully modeled. The collection focuses heavily on casual outerwear and headwear including beanies and caps. Check out the lookbook after the jump.
Acapulco Gold has ushered out their winter goods, a carefully selected, wide-ranging mix that has something for everybody. The holiday themed pieces include the Nordic style Paradise crewneck with its matching beanie, some “luxuriously soft” heavy-duty flannel, as well as the Dog Bite beanie which couples rabid dogs and snowflake-inspired designs. Other pieces variate from the regular holiday wear, spanning from a bold Malcolm X graphic tee, all the way to the OG 6-panel, memorializing fallen rap heroes with each icon getting their own individual embroidery on the cap. Back in September Acapulco Gold previewed the first delivery of their Fall collection and now showcase a few more fresh pieces for the season. The line is headlined with the release of the long awaited OG Baseball Jackets and Preppy Flannels. Acapulco Gold is back with their much anticipated Fall 11 collection. Releasing pieces from the collection in intervals, Acapulco Gold did a great job hyping up their new collection. However, beyond the hype, Acapulco Gold comes through with a collection featuring raw denim, plaid flannels, snapbacks, beanies, a varsity, and a pull-over jacket. A closer look at the collections denim shows a classic raw selvedge with camo belt loops. The snapbacks which come in camo and black colorways feature the “Knockout” Logo, and the beanies feature the favorite “Angry Lo’” logo. The collection rounds out with the varsity jacket which features the embroidering “OG” on the left chest side, and a pull over which will come in a rare black and green colorway. Look for more of the collection to be released in the coming days.
Acapulco Gold showcases off their new Regimental Strip Crack Tie which comes in red and black colorway. Inspired by the Air Jordan III, the silk tie features a cement print and a traditional striped design. Look to find this tie in limited quantities come Holiday Season. Acapulco Gold has released their 2011 Summer Lookbook shot by Jay Maldonado in the city of New York. The brand sticks to their roots as they release pieces that easily stand out of the crowd but remain simple enough to understand. Look to find a lot of familiar pieces but expect some new additions as you will find a short sleeve, paisley button down in this collection. The summer line is available now through Acapulco Gold.

In preparation for the Spring and Summer seasons comes Acapulco Gold’s 2nd delivery from their Spring 2011 collection. This delivery features several classic pieces that are perfect for the warm weather thats to come. The first piece, the Spring Training Poplin Baseball Jacket, contains embroidered applique letters on a custom designed Poly/Cotton body. Acapulco Gold gives credit where credit is due, which can evidently be seen on the Escobar tee, showcasing a tribute to the the legend.
As part of their 2011 New Era Cap Collection Acapulco Gold presents the “Dead Prez” New Era Fitted Cap. The cap features the AG logo with a President’s face in the background. The black cap features George Washington while the navy blue cap features Abraham Lincoln. These caps will be available starting next week at all AG retailers.
