Benny Gold recently opened the doors to his new store and in the process released a collaboration with Real Skateboards. By manipulating artwork Benny Gold did for Real skateboards on a previous project the two brands got together to release a deck and tee. The deck comes in two different editions: woodgrain and foil, the two woodgrain decks are limited to 25 pieces and are only available at the Benny Gold store while the real gold foil edition is limited to 100 pieces with each one being hand numbered. To go along with the collaboration there is a video featuring Benny Gold speaking about his brand and relationship with Real Skateboards. Almost two months ago Benny Gold announced they will be moving their Flagship store to a new location. The San Francisco based brand have outgrown their first location and are now heading to 3169 16th Street! The grand opening for the new store will take place this weekend on Saturday April 30th. Expect good food and good clothes as the brand will be selling new pieces from their spring collection. In the meantime Benny Gold is offering 50% off everything at his online store but this deal will only last until the grand opening.
Benny Gold continues to preview his Spring/Summer ’11 collection with this image being the latest to drop some hints for what we can expect. After seeing a trio of Varsity inspired New Era fitteds a few weeks ago, here’s a look at a few more caps including snapbacks. Benny Gold and Sean Desmond’s Tenderloin Project have joined forces yielding a limited edition t-shirt seen here. The black shirt features gold accents to symbolize the hope and dreams of the neighborhood. Here’s a little description of the concept of the collaboration.

A couple days ago we showed you a preview of the New Era Fitted Cap apart of this Dearly Departed X Benny Gold “Grave Marker” Collection. Now we have official images for the whole collaboration. The “Grave Marker” Collection includes a New Era hat coming in two colors: black and red, two tees coming in black and white, one red hoodie, and to top it off a black crewneck. As of today January 12th the limited collection is available at Benny Gold’s retail store, Dearly Departed’s online store, High Point, and Hall of Fame then on Friday the 14th you will be able to find the collection at Aristocrats, The Trap House, and Family Affair.

Just a week ago we showed you the video teaser for the Dearly Departed X Benny Gold collaboration. Here we have a preview of the New Era cap apart of the collection. The hat features the word “Dearly Departed” in the front with Benny Gold Paper Planes coming off the word. It looks as if the hat will come in two colors: black and red.
