After seeing a trio of Varsity inspired New Era fitteds a few weeks ago, here’s a look at a few more caps including snapbacks. Benny Gold gives his New Era logo 59Fifty fitted caps the Varsity treatment with designs and colors inspired by the classic varsity jackets looks and Notre Dame, USC and Miami. Each features leather brims and buttons, felt embroidery and college pennant side detailing. Look out for the hats to be dropping with the rest of the Benny Gold Spring/Summer collection this April.
Benny Gold and Sean Desmond’s Tenderloin Project have joined forces yielding a limited edition t-shirt seen here. The black shirt features gold accents to symbolize the hope and dreams of the neighborhood. Here’s a little description of the concept of the collaboration.
“The Tenderloin Project is is look into San Francisco’s most overlooked neighborhood. Its a raw street-level look into a marginalized neighborhood. We are really happy to help introduce the project to our supporters to help grow awareness of the everyday struggles and hopes of the people that live in SF’s Tenderloin district.”

A couple days ago we showed you a preview of the New Era Fitted Cap apart of this Dearly Departed X Benny Gold “Grave Marker” Collection. Now we have official images for the whole collaboration. The “Grave Marker” Collection includes a New Era hat coming in two colors: black and red, two tees coming in black and white, one red hoodie, and to top it off a black crewneck. As of today January 12th the limited collection is available at Benny Gold’s retail store, Dearly Departed’s online store, High Point, and Hall of Fame then on Friday the 14th you will be able to find the collection at Aristocrats, The Trap House, and Family Affair.

Just a week ago we showed you the video teaser for the Dearly Departed X Benny Gold collaboration. Here we have a preview of the New Era cap apart of the collection. The hat features the word “Dearly Departed” in the front with Benny Gold Paper Planes coming off the word. It looks as if the hat will come in two colors: black and red. Be on the lookout for more information regarding the release of this piece and collection.

Benny Gold designed Dearly Departed’s logo and in the process made the design that will be used for this project. No word on a release date yet but expect this collaboration to be very limited. Only a handful of stores are getting the t-shirt, crewneck, hoodie, and new era that are apart of this collection with there only being 75 pieces per item. San Francisco brand Benny Gold releases this classic New Era cap known as the “Doughboy” inspired by the cap Ice Cube wore in the movie Boyz n the Hood. The hat features the “Doughboy B” logo in the front with the New Era logo on the left and the Benny Gold Plane logo on the right.
