Ever since their lookbook set in a liquor store was featured last year, it’s become a seasonal curiosity to see what Check Your Six will do next. For this Fall the crew looks to have taken it easy with a visit to the outdoors, giving us a peek at their “Young Americans” collection along the way. Pictured items include a patriotic tee with “USA” blanketing the front, a patterned varsity letter adorning a crewneck and a shirt, as well as a very familiar “Minnesnowta” sweater. Check Your Six gives us a behinds the scenes look at their “Young Americans” Fall ’11 lookbook. As usual, the brand keeps things playful as they get set to release their new collection of graphic pieces. However, we’re sure that they have some things up their sleeves, but only time will tell. Founded back in ’08, Check Your Six was founded by two brothers committed to crafting high quality apparel, while focusing on graphics. The name is an air combat term that refers to checking behind yourself for an enemy. Their Fall/Winter ’09 Lookbook incorporates concepts associate with warfare including the grenade tee seen above as well as other elements including a play on G.I. Joe and their logo shirt.
