Nine Rulaz, Stussy and Mighty Crown have teamed up to present a capsule collection that includes the Champion Jacket, Work Cap and Anniversary tee. Each piece comes branded with all three companies with the Stussy icons being displayed a bit more prominently than the other two. Stussy is no stranger to collaborations. They are once again teaming up with AFDICEGEAR, a Japanese company specializing in the production of snowboard gear. The release will include three jackets available in red, black, and green colorways. The jackets feature a a sleek design complemented by chest and sleeve pockets. The outer material is, of course, a GORE-TEX® shell which will provide superior waterproof protection. Look for the release to come soon to Stussy Japan’s online store.
Stussy is reppin the international stage hard with the upcoming Stussy x Levi’s collaboration and now the Stussy Seoul Summer 2011 Lookbook. The lookbook features a detailed look at the new Chapter Store located in Seoul, South Korea, and it also touches base on some of the highlights from the Summer 2011 collection. Bet you didnt see this coming. Stussy Japan decides to hook up with the well established work wear brand Dickies for a capsule collection to be released later this month. The staple silhouettes are given a slight upgrade as far as base fabrics. The Painter Shorts sport a colorful checker pattern fabric while the Cropped pants are delivered with an indigo denim material. The Work shorts are plastered with orthodox navy and khaki colorways.The release is scheduled for Saturday, May 28th instore at all Stussy locations in Japan and online stores.

After presenting a collection classic shirts, Marvel and Stussy continue their on-going collaboration with Series Two, a set of tees with artistic interpretations. The two commission artists including Mr. Cartoon, David Shrigley, Gary Panter, James Jarvis, John K, Todd James, Will Sweeney, Bill Plympton, and Noah Butkus. Stussy has taken an interest into the Canadian market with the introduction of the Stussy Canada product line, a collection designed exclusively for our neighbors to the north. This preview showcases a collection whose theme is coordinated to bring comfort, warmth, and style in conjunction with the end of the winter season in Canada. The first part of the collection focuses solely on long sleeve plaid and denim work shirts, but rumors have led us to prepare for some surprises to come later on in the year. Two giants join forces with the collaboration of Marvel Comics and Stussy. The Series One collection combines some of Marvel’s most notable characters as well as classic Stussy designs. The first drop will be on April 27th, while the second collection will be going on sale on May 6th with nine guest artists putting their spin on Marvel. Herschel Supply Co. has hit the floor running as far as accessories go and team up with Stussy & Co. to release pair of backpacks. Each comes with a safety orange ripstop bottom and co-branding featuring Herschel and Stussy. The Settlement and Village bags will be limited to only 45 pieces each. New York photographer and author Collier Schorr may not be a familiar name, but her hard work and originality has led to big projects, such as the Stussy Deluxe Spring 2011 collection. Schorr was responsible for shooting a series of images showcasing the best of the Spring 2011 collection. Stussy Deluxe chose Schorr to create images that match their trend of organically incorporating pieces that stay consistent with their fine art techniques. Schorr opened up in the interview with Stussy, detailing her opinion on the shoot by saying, “The idea that one can have an adventure anywhere and that a backyard can be a paradise was the inspiration behind the shoot,” says Schorr. When asked about first memories of the Stussy brand, she replied, “I stole my brother’s friend’s sweatshirt during college break and recently confessed the crime. By the time this gets printed many of you will already be aware of the tragic events that unfolded over the weekend in Japan. Many of the world’s top street wear brands have headquarters that reside in various cites throughout Japan. The good folk over at Stussy have wasted no time in getting to work, teaming up with Hiroshi Fujiwara and Fragment Design to create a special t-shirt that will deliver the majority of the proceeds to the Japanese Red Cross.
