The G-Shock Shock The World Tour includes a collaboration with Tapei’s PHANTACi. The will be releasing a trio of G-Shock watches that is packaged inside Air Mail boxes. The PHANTACi x G-Shock watches includes three different colorways, white, pink and black. The boxes are personalized with PHANTACi’s 1 Year Anniversary mark and come inside a special custom etched wooden box. The co-branded watches will go on sale on August 7th at PHANTACI. To celebrate their 25th anniversary o protecting the oceans, waves and beaches, the Surfrider Foundation linked up with Casio to release a special G-Shock watch, entitled the G5500SRF-1. The G-Shock x Surfrider Foundation limited edition watch is an ecologically friendly watch which is made up of Non-Stop Tough Solar Technology, which ensures reliability and reduces the need to charge the battery. Featured in the backlight of the collaborative watch is the Surfrider Foundation logo. The logo is also placed on the back of the face and on the band and clasp. The watch also supports 200M water resistance and shock resistance, five daily alarms, countdown timer, 1/100 Sec. Stopwatch and 48-city/29 time zone world time. The watch will be available this month in July retailing at $130, a portion of the proceeds of sales will go toward the foundation.
