Johnny Cupcakes commissions Danny Jones / YASLY to design two exclusive tees. YASLY has been called upon for Johnny Cupcakes’ Artist Series which features unique graphics specially created for limited release. Get them in-store and online starting tomorrow, Saturday, February 27th.
With the NBA’s All Star Weekend right around the corner, Johnny Cupcakes has designed a few fitting pieces including the Big Kid tees, which include Michael Jordan (online exclusive), Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. Magic and Bird will be hitting Johnny Cupcakes Los Angeles and Boston, respectively as well as their online store. Wrapping up the February releases are Lakers and Celtics inspired shirts that will be hitting JC flagship stores.
In addition to the Pepe’ Le Pew Valentines Day Tee, Johnny Cupcakes will also be releasing the Cupid shirt above. The concept is based on V-Day incorporating red with a graphic of the Big Kid as Cupid and is finished off with the popular candy and Cupcakes and Crossbones logo on the back. Johnny Cupcakes debuted their collaboration with the Warner Bros’ classic animated series, Looney Tunes. The relationship between the two rolls on into the new year with the Pepe’ Le Pew Valentines Day tee scheduled to release in early February or possibly sooner. Featured is the french lover uplifted by the scent of the freshly baked Cupcakes. In addition, this will be one of the limited Valentines Day shirts, stay tuned for more Johnny Cupcakes.
Johnny Cupcakes has entered the New Era business, and started it off with a bang! JC has come up with some Tweed New Era 59fiftys in black and brown to show off the classic JC logo in white. The fitteds come complete with the side New Era logo and another JC logo at the back to finish off these tweed hats. They are available now online for $60 each, freshly baked.

Johnny Cupcakes has churned out some new November pieces inspired by the upcoming holidays and events among other things. Pictured above is limited t-shirt inspired by Thanksgiving and is also numbered to 130, only available in-store. The second shirt is also limited and found exclusively on the Johnny Cupcakes online store, it features a Thanksgiving theme sporting a Native American with Johnny Cupcakes finishing. The rest of the November tees are available for a limited time at their East and West coast locations.
Johnny Cupcakes showcased their first batch of Halloween inspired shirts just a few days ago and are back in the kitchen rolling out a few more limited designs including the Crossbone Buster tee seen above. Other Halloween themed graphics incorporate the Cupcakes and Cross Bones logo as well as familiar Halloween figures like Dracula and Jason. Get all six now at Johnny Cupcakes.
What do you get when you mix Halloween with cupcake mix and tee shirts? I don’t know, but Johnny Cupcakes put their ideas into shirts as they released the fourth volume of the Johnny Cupcakes “There’s Something in the Cupcake Mix” series. This series features four Halloween-inspired designs, including the Scout Snack in yellow, Jack the Ripper in blue, Chef Surprise in grey, and Face Snatcher in green.
