Nike’s series of commercials featuring last years NBA Champion Kobe Bryant and hardwood hopeful Lebron James have reappeared with new skits featuring the inseparable duo. The two can also be found staring in their latest collaboration with Undefeated. The U-Man Puppet Tees consists of Undefeated’s iconic U-Man logo either jumping over Kobe Bryant’s Ferrari or on the newest issue of UNDFTD. Both will be available this Saturday, December 19th in-store and online.

Nike continues to commemorate the Los Angeles Lakers’ championship from the 08-09 NBA season. The newly released tees feature Kobe Bryant’s four championship rings including the three peat starting in 2000 and ending in 2002. It wasn’t too long ago since Nike aired their MVP Puppets series of commercials staring Kobe Bryant, Lebron James and Lil’ Dez. Nike has already created a few shirts inspired by the commercials including the one seen here. Their latest creation features Lil Dez’ as the focal point of the shirt along with stacks of shoes boxes. The shirt will accompany a matching pair of Nike Big Nike Highs congratulating Kobe Bryant on his achievement with the Los Angeles Lakers. Right after Nike finished up their Most Valuable Puppets series of commercials, they began to produce several puppet inspired t-shirts including the one seen here placing Kobe Bryant and LeBron James side by side. Nike has developed another colorway of the same design and can be purchased in red at the NikeStore for $25. Be sure to purchase the Most Valuable Puppets shirt by Nike while you can, the grey model sold out very quickly.

Combining Nike heritage with slick design and might I say clean look make for a line that will not be soon forgotten. Either you follow the NBA Playoffs or randomly flip through channels and have seen their commericials, Nike’s MVP Puppets series featuring Kobe Bryant and LeBron James has inspired their latest t-shirt design. Though this does not fall under the category of streetwear or involve a popular name like The Hundreds or Diamond Supply Co., it is a pretty interesting shirt sporting cartooned images of the two players many thought would meet in the finals. Although LeBron James has suffered defeat at the hands of Dwight Howard, Nike’s commercials still go on. Keep an eye out for the commercials to air tonight when the Lakers faceoff against the Magic.
