Stussy has taken an interest into the Canadian market with the introduction of the Stussy Canada product line, a collection designed exclusively for our neighbors to the north. This preview showcases a collection whose theme is coordinated to bring comfort, warmth, and style in conjunction with the end of the winter season in Canada. The first part of the collection focuses solely on long sleeve plaid and denim work shirts, but rumors have led us to prepare for some surprises to come later on in the year. By the time this gets printed many of you will already be aware of the tragic events that unfolded over the weekend in Japan. Many of the world’s top street wear brands have headquarters that reside in various cites throughout Japan. The good folk over at Stussy have wasted no time in getting to work, teaming up with Hiroshi Fujiwara and Fragment Design to create a special t-shirt that will deliver the majority of the proceeds to the Japanese Red Cross. This is not just a Japanese matter, it is one that affects the world as a whole. The collaboration between Stussy and Domino Records mixes the world of California punk music with high-quality street wear fashion. The collection highlights UK label Domino Record’s BlACK HOLE, a compilation consisting of the rarest California punk music from 1977-1980 that was created by commended music journalist Jon Savage. Fans of BLACK HOLE will find tees from several of the brands on the album including the Screamers, the Weirdos and Negative Trend. Stussy continues to celebrate their 30th anniversary with the second wave from the XXX collection. Stussy commemorated their achievement earlier in the year with collaborations from Last Laugh, Leilow, Firmament, Hellz and a few others. Group 2 includes the likes of Neighborhood, Hideout, Supreme, Bounty Hunter, Slam Jam, PAM and CLAW. Release is scheduled for Saturday, March 20th at their Chapter stores, webstore and at their Japanese ZOZO site.
Stussy and HUF rekindle their relationship with two new tees for Spring ’10. The first of the two tees set to release consists of HUF written in a stylized Stussy font. Dropping alongside this shirt is another Stussy inspired design that reads “STOOPS”. Both feature the Stussy and HUF logo and will be available in white, black and limited edition Stussy colorway. Get them this Saturday, March 13th.
Back in November, we brought you a preview of the Fred Perry x Stussy collaboration, here’s a more detailed look at the Blank Canvas Collection. The project yields two logo tees available in white and black as well as a grey polo shirt. In addition, Fred Perry has released a few pieces of their own outside of the collection and that include the Fred Perry Twin Tip shirt, Gingham Check shirt and Red Tartan S/S shirt. Here’s a look at a few shots from Stussy’s Spring 2010 collection, which has officially dropped on their website. For this Spring, Stussy has created new styles for both men and women including new tees, shirts, tops, jackets, hats, dresses and more. They also include vintage Hawaiian theme designed that include custom graphics and prints inspired by the famed WWII Marine Corps fighter pilots, the “Black Sheep” Squadron. Get it now here.

As Stussy embark on their 30th Anniversary with the come of the New Year, they commemorate this accolade with special edition collections including the one seen here created with Eric Haze, also better known as the great graffiti artist Haze. The two have worked together in the past and Haze’s portfolio stretches from clothing to sneakers to watches.
