Varsity jackets are all the rage again and have been created by familiar brands such as A Bathing Ape, Diamond Supply Co., WTAPS, INVS and others like Elusive. Utilizing a more classic combination of red wool and white leather, Elusive incorporates their own touches with a vintage feel. On the right side is their name printed and on the left is their logo. If you have been following Diamond Supply Co. as close as we have, you have probably notice their transition into clean cut and sew pieces. The Un-Polo Varsity Jackets are one of the many new looks for Diamond. Spring 2010 will see the release of a diverse selection of apparel including the red and black jackets seen above that sports the Un-Polo “d” logo. These lightweight jackets will be hitting retailers this Spring. More previews to come.

San Francisco based brand and retailer INVS follows up the release of their leather jacket in December with the Varsity Jacket seen above. The jacket’s body composed of 100% Wool, while the sleeves consist of 100% Nappa leather. Red quilted satin fully lines the inside of the jacket and adds a nice contrast to the black exterior. The jacket is transformed from a classic varsity jacket to a more modern version with a slimmer cut and thicker neck for warmth. On the outside of the jacket, there is no branding ensuring everyday use. The INVS Varsity Jacket is set to release this month.

2009 was filled with tons of collaborations coming from many of the major brands like Stussy who teamed up with Futura Labs, Hello Kitty and many others. Here’s a look at some of their Spring 2010 products, which includes the Classic Off Set Athletic Hoodie seen above, Classic Talk Camo Zip Hoodie and the Classic International Athletic Varsity Jacket. Diamond Supply Co. continues to run with the Un-Polo theme through the Holiday season with the upcoming release of a Cardigan and an Un-Polo Jacket. The wool jackets come in two different colorways, grey/black and black/tiffany. Each Un-Polo Jacket include the Un-Polo D on the left chest.
